JOHN FERNBACHER
Executive Producer

John began his San Francisco production company in 1984. He has an extensive background in live multi-media presentations, film & tape production as well as state-of-the-art web applications. John is the recipient of numerous awards for documentary films, corporate presentations and international live staged events. His projects have taken him around the world, traveling throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. John is a former news writer and producer with NBC Television affiliates in San Francisco and Missouri. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and a Masters Degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri.

NELL SCHWARTZ
Senior Producer

Nell graduated with a degree in literature from the University of California at Santa Barbara, where she began working in broadcast. While living in Russia, in the early '90s, she taught English and worked for a radio news station as a reporter and anchor. After returning to the Bay Area, Nell began producing a radio talk show as well as short documentaries. Going on five years at Fernbacher Productions, she has traveled worldwide, working primarily on video productions. Nell oversees creative concept and treatment design, script writing, talent auditions and selections, scheduling, on-site shoot production and directing, graphic design and post-production. Nell also helps with client needs on the show site. Some of the clients she has worked with are PeopleSoft, Sybase, EMC², Intuit, 3com, Chiron, Foster Farms, Juniper Networks, Neutrogena and Sun Microsystems. When she's not at Fernbacher Productions, Nell can be found producing and acting in local theatre productions.

HUNTER JAMESON
Art Director/Event Producer

Hunter graduated with a degree from West Virginia University in scenic design and technical theatre. Over the last decade he has designed or produced more than 250 shows around the United States and the Bay Area for a multitude of live theatre productions, TV settings and events for clients such as Nike, Sun Microsystems, Nordstrom's, Sprint, Juniper Networks, Intel, EMC², BEA, 3com, The 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics Committee, Aspect Communications and Macy's. With a strong theatre background, Hunter brings a style and flair to all his projects. And as a father of twins, Hunter has a renewed creative energy!

KATE ROBERTS
Producer

Kate is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder where she majored in Psychology and in addition studied language and architecture in Paris. Before joining the Fernbacher team, Kate worked for a worldwide meeting planning company. At Fernbacher Productions she now organizes and manages on-site show logistics throughout the US. In the last year, she has continued to travel to Europe, Canada and Asia to produce several events. She occasionally assists with video production, post-production and creative development. She has worked with clients such as EMC², Chiron, BEA, 3com, NASA, Alaska Seafood, Foster's Wine Estates, Sega Sports, and Sun Microsystems. As a native of the Bay Area, Kate enjoys traveling to the beach and mountains.

CASEY KOHLHOFF
Video Editor & Digital Artist

Casey brings to Fernbacher Productions an incredible range of multi-media talents, including non-linear video editing, sound design, 3-D animation, as well as DVD and CD authoring. Since graduating from St. Mary's College with a degree in Communications, he has worked on a number of productions, including such work for Fujitsu, Pringles, Redback, WebEx, Chiron, EMC², Sun Microsystems, PricewaterhouseCoopers and PowerBar. He competed extensively as a college tennis player and was a competitive downhill ski racer in his home state of Oregon.

TAMRA MOON
Business Development

With more than 15 years experience in corporate event planning, Tamra brings a planner's point of view to Fernbacher Productions. She is responsible for business development, client relations and manages office administration. She has planned corporate events worldwide for clients such as Johnson & Johnson, EMC², Lucent, Sun Microsystems and Sybase. Tamra was a corporate event planner for the Sharper Image Corporation and an Operations Director for an international event management company. Fluent in French, Tamra has lived and studied in France and has traveled extensively.

LUIS BALBONA
Technical Director

As Fernbacher Production's Technical Director, Luis handles all the details of making sure shows run smoothly. His expertise in video technology, audio engineering and computer interfacing, make him essential for all our major projects. Before joining Fernbacher Productions, he was staff coordinator and show manager for one of the largest audiovisual companies in Denver. His client list includes Sun Microsystems, EMC², Sybase, BEA, USB, Indus, Solectron, OSIsoft, NASA, and Accenture. His true passion is hunting throughout the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

KIM PETERSEN
Digital Graphics

Kim has been producing cutting-edge graphics for more than two decades. In the mid '90's, Kim made the leap from the print world to motion graphics and video production for corporate meetings and events, specializing on state-of-the art platforms like Adobe, Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects, and Premier Pro. His client list includes Sun Microsystems, Qwest Communications, Level 3, EMC², NASA, Foster's Wine Estates, USB, and Solectron. Prior to that, Kim was an instructor with New Horizons, a worldwide corporate training firm, where he taught layout and illustration to in-house graphic departments of Fortune 500 companies. Kim's summers are filled canoeing through the northern lakes of the United States and Canada and visiting family back in Iowa.

BRUCE MARTIN
Marketing Representative

For the past decade Bruce Martin has been working with marketing clients to develop unique plans for their companies and products. Before joining Fernbacher Productions as a marketing representative, Bruce spent more than two decades in the marketing and sales of consumer products for Castle & Cooke (Bumble Bee Tuna), Joseph Schlitz Brewing and Ashland Oil. He graduated from University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Marketing and received his MBA from Golden Gate University.

ANDREW TAYLOR
Web Designer

Andrew, a self-taught graphic designer, web developer and Flash
animator, has worked for Fernbacher Productions on multiple projects for clients including Clorox, Concepts Worldwide, and Redback Networks. While specializing in Flash presentations, Andrew also has more than six years experience in web development, graphic design, print, and interactive media.

ALLISON PRINCE
Director/Producer

A graduate of Colgate University with a degree in Fine Arts with honors in photography, Allison has been working with Fernbacher Productions for the past 10 years. In both producing and directing Allison has worked for an array of big name clients and has traveled the world extensively both for work and pleasure. Her projects include work for CitiBank, Consolidated Freightways, Apple Computer, Software Technology Corporation and Grey Advertising.

KRISTINA SMITH
Producer/Writer

Kristina has been a producer with Fernbacher Productions since 1992 shaping productions from creative conception to final video distribution. Kristina oversees creative concept and treatment design, script writing, talent auditions and selections, on-site shoot production, graphic design, and post-production. Previous to her work at Fernbacher Productions, Kristina was a TV news producer at network affiliates in Reno, Nevada and Bakersfield, California. Client contacts include Intel, Foster Farms, Consolidated Freightways, Sybase, Fox Sports, FedEx, CitiBank and Nestle Brands.

STEVE MULLER
Creative Director/Writer

Steve has been involved in multiple projects with Fernbacher Productions in the capacity of Creative Director and Writer. Steve has more than fifteen years experience designing for both print and interactive media. He has designed publications, advertisements, direct mail, CD-Roms, websites and multimedia applications for diverse clients including Apple, Adobe, Sutter Home Vineyards and the U.S. National Park Service. At Fernbacher Productions, Steve has worked on EMC² and Sun Microsystems. Steve brings filmmaking sensibility to interactive design. He received a Masters Degree in Cinema from San Francisco State University and an undergraduate degree in Art from Stanford University. Steve also "treads the boards" throughout San Francisco as a stand up comedian.
